The Model Builders Outfit Guideline
Creating Your Best Looks
We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to your photoshoot!
To help you get the most out of your experience, please bring a minimum of 5 and up to 7 different outfits with you on the day.
This gives our creative team plenty of choice and helps create a varied, professional portfolio. We’ll select around four looks during your session to work with.
Your First Look (Essential)
Please make sure one of your outfits is a plain white top or shirt.
This will be used for your first look and should be simple and clean — no logos, prints, or busy patterns.
This look works best with:
- A plain white top or shirt
- Simple, natural styling
- Hair worn down so it looks soft and natural
No heavy makeup is needed for this look — just arrive with a clean face, and our makeup artist will take care of the rest.
Ideas for Your Other Outfits
We love seeing a range of styles that show off your personality. Try to include:
- Casual / Everyday wear (e.g. jeans, t-shirt, relaxed outfit)
- Smart / Occasion wear (something you’d wear to a nice dinner or event)
- Cultural outfit (if you have one, this really adds individuality)
- Seasonal looks (spring/summer and autumn/winter options)
- Mix of colours and textures for more variety
Please try to make each outfit different so your final images have plenty of contrast and range.
Accessories
Accessories are great to show creativity and variety. Feel free to bring:
- Scarves, hats, bags, or jewellery
- Different footwear (trainers, flats, boots, sandals, loafers)
Important Notes for Under 18s
❌ Please avoid:
- Big branding or cartoon characters on clothing
- Crop tops, short shorts, swimwear, or heels
- Fancy dress, football kits, school uniform, or earrings
✅ We recommend:
- Block colours or subtle prints
- Outfits suitable for different occasions
- Clothes that are age-appropriate and comfortable
Before You Arrive
- Come with clean, freshly washed hair, no gel or hairspray.
- No makeup needed - our team will handle everything for you
Final Tip
The more variety you bring, the more creative we can be!
Think of your outfits as telling your story — casual, smart, cultural, and seasonal styles all help show your versatility.
